    Oak Spring Garden Foundation

    The Oak Spring Garden Library, founded by Rachel Lambert (Bunny) Mellon, is among the foremost collections of rare botanical and horticultural books in the world. The Library hosts fellows and researchers to work with the OSGF’s collections at Mellon’s rural Virginia estate, Oak Spring. I was appointed to the Library Advisory Board by OSGF director Sir Peter Crane in 2022. After a week-long conference at Oak Spring, the Board compiled a 30-page report recommending facilities & security improvements, recruitment of personnel, and programs to support OSGF Library’s mission.
