(Spring 2018 Special Project) “COLLOQUY 2018 Project”, the full-scale, behavioral
and visial reproduction of the original, seminal, interactive 1968 installation of Gordon
Pask’s “Colloquy of Mobiles.” Collaboration with TJ McLeish, master fabricator, and
the MFA IxD students in their Studio II and Studio IV courses. Initiated and led the
project with duties including scientific direction of the replica, raising funds, and
promoting the project and its outcomes. Incorporated studentparticipation from
two MFA design studios. The reproduction was exhibited as part of the exhibition,
“NEURONES. LES INTELLIGENCES SIMULÉES”, Centre Pompidou in Paris, in
February, 2020. It is now part of the permanent collection of the ZKM Museum in
Karlsruhe, Germany. Student documentation at ColloquyOfMobiles.com.
