BIO
George is an Associate Research Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, with a courtesy appointment in the Computer Science Department, and co-director of the Parallel Data Lab. From 2021 to 2025, he also spent part of his time at Amazon Web Services as an Amazon Scholar. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Toronto.
