Thomas Mitchell

Thomas D. Mitchell is an Associate Teaching Professor of English at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar. His research uses discourse analysis and genre-based pedagogy to make writing expectations explicit to students in courses across the curriculum. He is a co-author of the book Analysis and Argument in First-Year Writing and Beyond: A Functional Perspective and numerous academic journal articles.
