Kathryn Roeder

The primary goal of Dr. Roeder’s research group is to develop statistical and machine learning tools for finding associations between patterns of genetic variation and complex disease. They focus on high dimensional inference problems with application to high-throughput DNA and RNA sequencing data, including single cell RNA-seq. She is one of the leaders of the Autism Sequencing Consortium, an international organization dedicated to discovering the genetic etiology of autism.
