Teaching the interdisciplinary class at the ETC allows the wonderful opportunity to watch people discover and grow. Teaching in this environment is like playing a game a chess, you watch what they do and then judge when to step in and tell them what to do, only hint at what they should do, or flat out let them go on their own. How long do you let them travel down the wrong path to see if they can figure out that it is the wrong path? And to always be there to help them stand back up when they fall. You have to call upon all of your own experiences in life in order to stay one step ahead of them and guide them directly or indirectly.
