David Barack

David L Barack is a philosopher and neuroscientist.

As a philosopher, Dr. Barack’s work focuses on the theoretical and conceptual foundations of cognitive neuroscience and artificial intelligence, the basis of cognition in neurodynamical systems, and the role of search in inquiry.

As a neuroscientist, Dr. Barack investigates the neural circuits and computations that govern foraging decisions for different resources, how foragers use information to learn about their environments, and how decisions to exploit known resources or explore for new ones are made.
