Ashman Mehra

I am an ML enthusiast and am passionate about developing efficient systems for training and deploying Machine Learning models. I am a Master’s student in Computer Science (MSCS) at Carnegie Mellon University, with a strong foundation in research and industry. My published research is in the field of Reinforcement Learning and applied multimodal Machine Learning. I have also researched at companies like Uber and Nutanix in storage systems and making them efficient for AI applications. My professional interests lie at the intersection of Machine Learning and Systems, with a focus on real-world applications and measurable impact. Outside of academics and work, I enjoy swimming, bouldering at climbing gyms, and playing snooker.
