Linda Du is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University. She completed her Ph.D. in Finance at the McCombs School of Business, University of Texas at Austin and holds a B.S. in Operations Research - Financial Engineering from Columbia University.

 

Her primary research area is in investments including both equity and fixed income mutual funds and ETFs. She is interested in the competition between ETFs and mutual funds and their interactions with each other as well as the market microstructure of how funds are able to provide liquidity. She is also interested in the intricacies of the corporate bond markets, particularly how the evolution of the investment space has impacted and interacts with these markets.

 

At Tepper, she teaches the course Valuation and Financial Modeling to undergraduates.
