BIO
Dr. Nupoor Ranade is an Assistant Professor of Rhetoric and Technical Communication at Carnegie Mellon University. Her research addresses knowledge gaps in the fields of technical communication practice and pedagogy, and focuses on professional writing and editing, inclusive design, and ethics of AI. Through her teaching, Nupoor tries to build a bridge between academia and industry and help students develop professional networks while they also contribute to the community that they are part of. Her research has won multiple awards and is published in journals including but not limited to Technical Communication, AI & Society, Communication Design Quarterly, IEEE Transactions on Professional Communication.
