BIO

I am an Associate Professor at the Carnegie Mellon University, School of Computer Science, Language Technologies Institute. I am also affiliated with CMU CyLab, CMU-Pitt Computational Biology, and UC Santa Barbara Computer Science Department. My research areas are Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing, focusing on multilingual NLP, machine translation (text, speech), security of large language models, LLM agents, and AI for drug discovery and protein design.
