BIO

I am an assistant teaching professor in Statistics & Data Science at Carnegie Mellon University, after receiving my PhD at CMU under Joel Greenhouse and earning my BS in physics at the University of Texas at Austin. While in graduate school, I published the book Statistics Done Wrong, on common statistical mistakes made in scientific research, which made me a firm believer in the value of simple, understandable, and interpretable statistical methods for solving complex scientific questions.
